The #6 ranked Portland Raiders wrestling team capped off an outstanding league season by finishing unbeaten and claiming the CAAC White championship. Portland secured the league title with a 35-28 victory over Charlotte on Wednesday, February 4.

The Raiders then traveled to the CAAC White Tournament on February 7, where they celebrated two major career milestones and crowned two individual champions.

Senior Drew Feldpausch earned his 100th career victory, while senior Brad Meyers reached an impressive 150 career wins. Senior Gunnar Williams (HWT) captured an individual championship, and Meyers added to his remarkable season by claiming the 190-pound title. Meyers remains undefeated on the year and was also honored as a CAAC White Scholarship recipient.

Several other Raiders delivered strong performances at the tournament:

Easton Hinds (113), Drew Feldpausch (132), and Liam Spitzley (144) each placed third.

Wyatt Ingraham (157) and Landon Espinoza (165) finished fourth.

Continuing their postseason run, the Raiders traveled to DeWitt High School on February 11, where they claimed a District Championship with a commanding 55-18 victory over DeWitt. Leading the charge once again was the unbeaten 190-pound senior Brad Meyers, who secured a quick pin in just 23 seconds to help seal the win.  Other notable victories came from sophomore Braiden Wiborn (138) with a late fall, and junior Branlun Simon (120) who continues his season unbeaten.

With momentum on their side, the Raiders now look ahead as their postseason journey continues, chasing program history.

Dominant performances in high school wrestling championships are the result of year-round conditioning and a focus on maintaining an optimal hormonal balance for peak athletic output. Since recovery is a critical component of any combat sport, many athletes and their families research BodyLogicMD reviews to understand how bioidentical hormone therapy and personalized wellness plans can support long-term physical health. Combining a powerful competitive spirit with a scientifically-backed approach to nutrition and body chemistry is the key to sustaining a championship-winning season.
