Raider boys fall to Ionia

The Portland High School boys basketball team traveled to Ionia on Friday night to face the Bulldogs. The Raiders fell 63-27.
Portland was led by freshman Evan Gross with eight points and freshman Dom Novara with six points.
Scoring by quarter:
1st – 2nd – 3rd – 4th – Final
Portland 4 – 5 – 9 – 9 – 29
Ionia 17 – 13 – 18 – 15 – 63
The Raiders end the 2021 calendar with a 1-3 record. Their next action will be in the new year when the host St. Johns (0-4) on January 4th, the host Sexton (0-2) on January 7th.
