Raider boys basketball tops Carson City, falls to Eaton Rapids

On Wednesday night the Portland High School boys basketball team traveled to Carson City. The Raiders picked up a 38-31 victory.

Freshman Dominic Novara led Portland offensively with 17 points. Freshman Chris Battley added 12 points.

Carson City 9 – 6 – 7 – 9 – 31

On Friday night the Raiders traveled to Eaton Rapids for the final CAAC White match-up of the season. Portland fell 55-53 in a hard-fought battle.

The Raiders were led by senior Trent Meyers with 21 points. Junior Marc Nobis added 12 points.

The Raiders finish their CAAC White schedule with a league record of four and six. They are currently six and 13 overall. They will finish out their regular season schedule next Thursday when they host Mason. The Bulldogs are currently nine and 10 overall.
