Raider Bowling teams pick up wins over Grand Ledge

On Friday, the Portland Raider bowling teams competed against the Grand Ledge Comets in the lanes at Wagon Wheel.


The girls varsity team improved to 6-1 with a 29-1 victory over the shorthanded Comets. Lilly Keller had a the high game of the day with a 173 followed closely by Mya Kahn with a 166.


The boys varsity team improved to 4-3 on the season with a 21-9 victory. High game of the day was Camden Calkins with a 253. This was a great team win as 3 bowlers made their first appearance on the varsity team. Nate Pierce, Devin Spitzley, and Camden all three were key to the victory.


The program’s next match will be Friday, January 27, 2023 versus Ionia at Wagon Wheel.
