Friday 12/12/2025 Home against Lakewood
The Portland Raiders hosted the Lakewood Vikings at Wagon Wheel and continued their strong start to the season, with all three teams improving to 4–0.
The girls’ team earned a 22–8 victory, highlighted by standout performances from their leaders. Returning from injury, Keira Moffatt led the way with an impressive 289 two-game series. Close behind her was Savanah Sutton, who posted a solid 267 two-game series.
The boys’ varsity team completed the sweep with a decisive 30–0 victory, also moving to 4–0 on the season. Wyatt Spear led the team with an outstanding 423 two-game series, while Tanner Brownell contributed a 373 series. As a team, the Raiders averaged 176, marking their highest team average of the season.
Sunday 12/14/2025 Western Baker Doubles
The Portland girls traveled to Bay City to compete in the Bay City Western Bakers Dozen tournament. The girls avenged a poor showing in this tournament last year by qualifying for match play in 12th place.
In the first match they kept the first game close, but in Baker game 2, Flint Powers came together to send the lady Raiders home.
Monday 12/15/2025 at Lansing
Portland traveled to Royal Scot to take on Lansing United in league competition.
The girls team remained undefeated, improving to 5–0 with a 20–10 victory. They were led by Savanah Sutton, who rolled a 184 game and a 360 two-game series. Sophia Pennington added a strong performance, bowling her career-high 178 game.
The boys varsity team fell to 4–1 after an 8–22 loss, but was paced by Wyatt Spear, who bowled impressive games of 206 and 191.
Wednesday 12/17/2025 at Lakewood
The Raiders traveled to Buddy’s on the Beach to take on the Lakewood Vikings, with strong performances across all three squads.
The girls varsity team remained undefeated, improving to 6–0 with a 17–13 victory. Savanah Sutton led the Raiders with a 305 two-game series, while Karagan Calley rolled a 265 series and Keira Moffatt added a 264 series.
The boys varsity team earned a 24–6 victory to improve their record to 5–1. Wyatt Spear led the way with games of 193 and 190 for a 383 two-game series. The Raiders showed resilience, battling back from early deficits in both team games.
