St. Patrick Varsity Shamrocks scored six runs in the second inning, which helped them defeat St Mary's Eagles 11-2 on Saturday at Lake Leelanau. Jerryd Scheurer grounded out, scoring one run, Charlie Thelen doubled, scoring one run, Brayden Simon singled, scoring one run, Tyler Thelen singled, scoring two runs, and Simon White hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

The pitcher went five and two-thirds innings, surrendering three runs (two earned) on three hits, striking out eight and walking five. Paul Roberts collected the save.
Hudson Martin, Barrett Brennan, Gunnar Williams, Moore, and Tyler Smith each collected one hit for Portland Varsity Raiders. Fowlerville Varsity Gladiators got on the board in the first inning after Kiely Davis singled, scoring one run.
Portland Varsity Raiders flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring six runs on six hits to take the lead, 6-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Autumn Reffitt on the seventh pitch of the at-bat that drove in two.
A single by Veda Smith extended the Portland Varsity Raiders lead to 7-3 in the bottom of the third inning.

Lansing Catholic were the first to get on the board in the first when A Laconte singled, scoring one run.
In the top of the third inning, Portland Varsity Raiders went back into the lead after Bella Spitzley doubled to center field, Bailee Fish doubled down the left field line, and Lilly Thelen singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.
In the bottom of the third inning, Lansing Catholic went back into the lead after Dunneback singled to center field, T Dunneback doubled to left field, and Dunneback scored after tagging up, each scoring one run.
Anastasia Seidelman doubled down the right field line following a 6-pitch at-bat, which helped Portland Varsity Raiders tie the game at four in the top of the fourth.
