Portland Cheer heading back to States

The Portland High School cheer team traveled to Rockford High School on Saturday to complete in the regional competition. With an overall score of 737.84, Portland took third place and advances to the State Finals.

The Division 3 State Finals will kick off on Friday, March 3rd at 1:00 PM at Central Michigan University’s McGuirk Arena. Along with Portland, the Division 3 field includes Croswell-Lexington, Grosse Ile, Howard City Tri County, Lake Odessa Lakewood, Paw Paw, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep and Richmond.
