Portland Bowlers top Charlotte

The Portland bowling teams traveled to Char-Lanes in Charlotte on Thursday to take on the Orioles of Charlotte.  

The girls team celebrated another victory with a 25-5 win.  This moved their record to 9-0 and they sit atop the league.  Leading the way were Savanah Sutton, Addy Thomas and Keira Moffatt.  They shot 2 game series of 312, 302 and 299 respectively.  Of note for the Orioles, Lori Jackson shot 247 and 225 for a whopping 472 2 game series.

Boys Varsity improved to 9-0 as well with a 21-9 victory. They were led by Eli Dakin who bowled a 251 game and a 410 two game series. In the second Baker game the boys bowled a 255 which is the program’s highest baker game in over 5 seasons.
