Portland bowlers defeat East Lansing

Friday, February 10th was the final match of the regular season for the PHS bowling teams against East Lansing.
The Portland girls team won 19-11 with the match coming down to the last baker game. The girls finished the season 9-1 which will secure them at least a share of the division title.
Varsity boys overcame a 7-2 deficit to win 16-14. Their match went down to the tenth frame of the last baker game. Alec McGinnis had to throw a double to secure the win. Alec also ended the regular season with a bang with a high game of 253 in the 2nd team game.
The varsity teams head to regionals February 23-24.
