PFCU Credit Union Executive Team Donates to ‘Sleep in Heavenly Peace’

In the spirit of giving back and supporting the local communities we serve, the Executive Team at PFCU Credit Union is proud to announce a recent donation collected in support of Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP), a nonprofit organization dedicated to building and donating beds to children who don’t have one.

Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit that builds, assembles, and delivers beds — complete with mattresses and bedding — to children who otherwise would be sleeping without one. Since its founding, the organization has grown to hundreds of chapters nationwide and has built tens of thousands of beds for children across the country. 

“Every child deserves a safe and restful night’s sleep,” said Michele Makley, CEO at PFCU Credit Union. “We’re honored to support Sleep in Heavenly Peace in their incredible mission and to help bring comfort to local families who need it most.”

Through generous contributions from our Executive Team, we were able to make a meaningful financial donation that will directly support SHP’s efforts here in Michigan. These funds will help provide materials, tools, bedding, and logistical support so that more beds can be built and delivered to children in need.
