Thomas Benjamin Graft, age 57, passed away February 2, 2026 surrounded by his family. Leaving behind a life defined by love, loyalty, and the deep connections he shared with those closest to him.
Tom was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Karen, whom he cherished deeply. He took immense pride in his grandchildren, who brought him endless joy, and he shared an unbreakable bond with his loyal dog, Max, who was always by his side.
An outdoorsman at heart, Tom loved hunting and fishing and found peace in nature. He also enjoyed golfing and playing softball, passions that reflected his competitive spirit and love for being active. Some of his happiest moments were spent outdoors or surrounded by family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and meaningful time together.
Above all, Tom was a family man. His kindness, strength, and steady presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will live on in the love he gave and the lives he touched.
Surviving are his wife of 22 years, Karen; children: Scott (Erica Hoppes) Lanz, Dawn (Tom) Hodge, Keri (Scott Flint) Simon, Angela (Anthony) Weber, and Corey (Tara) Lanz; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Jill (Brian) Foreback, Kaye (Dave Groen) Thelen, Jackie (Tom) VanDerske, and David (Samara) Graft; special friend, Chris (Jodi Francis) Teachout; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Carol Graft and in-laws, Leo and Caroline Rockey.
