Obituary for Steven Sandborn

Steven Sandborn, age 77, passed away March 28, 2024.  He was born on October 29, 1946 in Lansing Michigan.

He was the son of George and Norma (Atwell) Sandborn.  He is survived by his wife Gerry and stepdaughter, Elizabeth of Kokomo, Indiana.

Steve's nickname was Ivan and he always loved his days of sports at Portland High School and graduated in 1966.  He participated in football, track and, golden gloves boxing.

After high school he enlisted in the US Navy and served his country.

Many nieces and nephews always enjoyed his laughter and good humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Bill, Bud, Gary, and Chuck and his five sisters, Jackie Whitfield, Beverly Fedewa, Janean West, Norma Kay Hill, and Mary Sandborn. Surviving is his brother, Jim (Brenda) Sandborn.

In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
