Obituary for Scott Jorgensen

Scott William Jorgensen, 47, of Portland, Michigan, passed away on June 22, 2021. He was born January 27, 1974 in Ionia, Michigan, son of James Scott and Judith Soules. Scott had earned an associate’s degree in HVAC from Lansing Community College; he also worked on the production line for Peckham. Scott enjoyed camping; listening to music; concerts such as Def Leppard; traveling to Nashville, Tennessee; attending and watching all sports, and was an avid MSU and Grand Ledge comets fan.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years Marcie; daughter Tennille Jorgensen; son Peyton Jorgensen; 7 siblings: Terri (Frank) Welch, Donald Alexander, April (Mike) Warpup, Michael (Alicia) Jorgensen, Michelle Petrovics, Marcelle Thompson, Cindy Jorgensen; stepfather John Jorgensen; several nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his Golden Doodles: Scarlett, Parker, and Olive. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
