Obituary for Ronald "Ron" D. May

On Friday December 23, 2022, Ronald "Ron" Dean May, loving son and father passed away at the age of 62. Son of Jeri and Leon; father to Tyler (Erica) and Shaina (Tony); grandfather of Brynn, OnnaRae, Jazzlynn, Briella, and Leon M. Ron was born and raised in Portland, a graduate of St. Patrick's High School in 1979, where he played basketball and baseball, known by his teammates as "Mad Dog" .

Growing up on the family farm gave him a deep respect for hard work and honesty which he carried with him while building his company and reputation as a licensed residential builder/general contractor of 35+ years (May Builders LLC).

Ron had a passion for photography. He also enjoyed exploring nature and traveling. When combined he made breathtaking photos that he loved to share with friends and family.

He was known for his kind smile, generous heart, and ability to keep a conversation from running dry.

Preceded in death by father, Leon, brother, Phillip, and sister-in-law, Dorothy. Survived by mother, Jeri, and siblings, LeAnn (Dan), Steve (Chris), Luke (Holly), and sister-in-law, Heidi.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. and the funeral will be on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements will take place at Lehman Funeral Home in Portland. Online condolences may be made at www.lehmanfuneralhomes.com.
