Obituary for Robert "Bud" A. Hansen

Robert A. “Bud” Hansen, age 80, of Portland, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022. He was born on December 1, 1941, the son of Arthur and Marion (Steiner) Hansen. Bud enjoyed flower gardening, spending time with his grandchildren, and was known for his sense of humor and quick wit. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael; and sister, Jacquelyn. He is survived by his wife of 50 plus years, Joyce (Montry) Hansen; daughter, Judi (Duane) Schafer; sons, Chris Hansen and Mark Hansen; granddaughters, Kayla, Lindsey, Alexa, and Kenadie; great-grandsons, Eli and Kaiden; and brothers, Max Hansen and Arthur Hansen. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Mike Alber at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at North Eagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland.
