Obituary for Marilyn M. Briggs-Pingel

Marilyn M. Briggs-Pingel, age 89, of Portland, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on August 7, 2021. Marilyn enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, canning, playing cards and helping friends and neighbors, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Briggs and her second husband, Herbert “Carroll” Pingel; brothers, Gordon, Gerald and Richard Dunn and her sister, Ruth Chapman; daughter-in-law, CarolAnne Briggs. Surviving are children, Eric (Birdie Denise) Briggs, Susan Briggs and Timothy (Regina) Briggs; grandchildren, Kristin (Joseph) Ciaramella, Joshua Briggs, Kenneth (Jessie Neilson) Keel, Joseph Briggs, Jesse (Kendra) Briggs, and Shelby (Benjamin) Fuller; 6 great grandchildren. A private family graveside service will be held. Interment will be in North Eagle Cemetery.
