Obituary for Lawrence "Larry" Nathan Kenyon

Lawrence “Larry” N. Kenyon, of Portland, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at the age of 81. He was born on May 13, 1945, the son of Henry and Hilda (Osman) Kenyon. In his younger years, Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being in the outdoors. He graduated from Lakewood High School. Larry worked his whole life in a factory and spent many years farming as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brad Kenyon; siblings, Norma Jean Dietz, Sharon Butts, and Max Kenyon. Larry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Connie Kenyon; children, Brian (Amy) Kenyon, Brenda (Mike) Zahm, and Bruce (Kathy) Kenyon; grandchildren, Heather (Tim) Hopkins, Todd Kenyon, Travis (Lydia) Bogardus, Casey Bogardus, Jake (Gracie) Kenyon, and Coty Kissane; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The Memorial Service will be conducted by Rev. Bob Beckett at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. Interment will follow at East Sebewa Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
