Joseph Martin Spitzley, age 94, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2021. He was born on November 3, 1927 in Portland, the son of Anthony and Louise Spitzley. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Don Geyman at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1025 South Union Street, Traverse City, MI 49684. Visitors are welcome beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Rite of Committal will be in Portland Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
