Obituary for Joan Mary (Moskal) Rensi

Joan Mary Rensi, age 84, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 7, 2020. She was born on September 3, 1936 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Frank and Helen Moskal. Joan lived in Portland, Pentwater and Lansing. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Portland. She loved reading, gardening and being outdoors, but her pride and joy was her family and she loved spending time with them. Joan was a loving and devoted wife of 59 years to Robert Rensi. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a sister, Sharon Stanczyk. She is survived by her children, Chad (Julie) Rensi, Robert (Linda) Rensi, Sharon (Bill) Stegenga, and Debbie Rensi; grandchildren Jennifer (Ken), Bethany, Kari (Reid), Bobbie Sue (Mick), Travis, Jakeb, Danielle (Dave), and Ben; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Micah, Graham, Allyson, Makayla, Blaine, Jack, Sloane and Greyson. The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 12, 2020 at St. Patrick Church with Rev. Mike Alber, presiding.
