Obituary for Jimmy Wayne Dunahoo

Jimmy Wayne Dunahoo, age 71, of Lyons, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was born on September 18, 1950 in Dyersburg, TN, the son of Walter and Eunice (Bradford) Dunahoo. Jimmy was a man of honor who loved his family. He worked at General Motors in Lansing for 21 and a half years. He loved fishing and relaxing on his boat. Jimmy taught and provided ministry for 18 years at the jails and prisons. He enjoyed his grandchildren, watching NASCAR and was crazy for cribbage and chess. He also fixed many cars over the years and was always willing to help fix others as well. Jimmy you will be greatly missed, we love you!

He is preceded in death by his parents and infant brother. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Linda; son, Tommy (Carrie) Dunahoo; daughter, Tammy Dunahoo; stepson, Jeremy (Lori) Dewey; grandchildren, Mandy, Kyle, Brian, Devon, Ryan, and Carson; sister, Margaret (Terry) Barrier; and brother, Bill Dunahoo.

The Funeral Service will be celebrated by Pastor Joe Robbe at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at Mt. Hope Church, 845 Portland Road, Portland. Interment will be in North Eagle Cemetery.
