Obituary for Edward J. Piercefield

Edward J. Piercefield passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, at the age of 74. He was born on May 25, 1952, to Norman and June Piercefield.

Ed was raised in Lake Odessa, Michigan & graduated from Lakewood High School in 1970. He briefly attended MIT, then was drafted into the U.S. Army. After coming home, he began his career with GM, where he retired after 30 years of service. Ed loved to golf, fish, & spend time with family & friends.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Norman & June (Schnabel) Piercefield, his sister Lucinda (Piercefield) Green & sister-in-law Judy Piercefield.

Surviving Ed is his daughters, Jennifer (Nick) Reed & Erin (Levi) Beard, his grandchildren Jaycee, Trinity, & Kendrick Reed; Wyatt, Zoe, & Violet Beard; great-grandson Isaiah Reed-Gomez, brother Gary Piercefield, brother-in-law Tom Green & many nieces, nephews, & special friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., August 13, 2026, at the VFW Post # 4090, 1324 E. Bridge Street, Portland, Michigan.
