Obituary for Chandra Jean Arlene Cox

Chandra Jean Arlene Cox, age 34, of Portland, loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 20, 2021. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on May 12, 1986, the daughter of Delbert and Emmy Lou (Auge) Cox. Chandra enjoyed playing video games and she loved animals. Chandra had caring heart which shined through in her work at the Portland Assisted Living and Memory Center. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Preceding Chandra in death are her grandparents, Emerson and Jean Auge and R. Dickie and L. Eileen Cox; uncles, Steve Auge and Andy (Cindy) Auge. She is survived by her daughter, Azura; parents, Delbert and Emmy Lou Cox; brother, Darrell Cox; sister, Shadow Cox; niece and nephew, Scarlette and Hunter; aunts and uncles, Chuck (Denise) Auge, John Auge, Randy Cox, Pam Richards, and Kerry May; and her boyfriend, Tim Tobin and his sons, Frankie, James, and Timmy.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the chapel. Interment will be in North Eagle Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
