Obituary for Cameron Theo Yager, Jr.

Cameron Theo Yager, Jr. of Lake Odessa, passed away suddenly on February 20, 2021.
Cam was born on August 20, 1959 in Hastings at Pennock Hospital to Cameron and Kay Yager. He married Patricia Green on February 10, 2006.
Surviving Cam is his wife, Pat; his children, Amy (Doug) Yager, Nikki (Al) Helmes, and Kyle (Laura) Yager; step-daughters, Jennifer (Nick) Reed and Erin (Levi) Beard; many grandchildren, Jaycee, Abbey, Trinity, Wyatt, Hailey, Zoe, Miya, Kylee, Ryley, Tony, Kendrick, Bella, Hannah, Violet and one great-grandson, Isaiah; siblings, Steve (Dawn) Yager, Rick (Michelle) Yager, Vonda (Greg) Mattson; many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law; and special friend, Kendall Smith.
Cam was preceded in death by his father, Cameron Yager, Sr. and his mother, Kay (Hansbarger) Yager.
Cam graduated from Lakewood High School in 1977. He was a retiree of TRW of Portland and recently of UPS Lansing Airport.
Cam enjoyed a life-time of hunting, spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, making maple syrup, camping, being in the woods, snowmobiling, taking their dog Scout for rides, and being up north.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 24, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Sebewa, 13010 S. Goddard Road, Lake Odessa, MI 48849 with the funeral service immediately following. Private interment will follow at West Sebewa Cemetery at a later date.
