Local Scrapbook store, Scrappy Divas, to host new Scrappy Kids Crew

The new scrapbook store in Portland has a new club in town! The store is starting a “Scrappy Kids Crew”, a craft club for kiddos of all ages.  The goal is to get those creative juices flowing and by the end of the year they will have a great memento.

The club is $30 for the year and includes the supplies needed for the projects each month.  This year’s project is a tag scrapbook album.  Each month will have a themed tag.  Members bring in their picture and make the tag at the shop or get the supplies to make it at home.  At the end of the year, members will have a year’s worth of tags with pictures. Their own little scrapbook album. The projects will be done on a drop-in basis on the second Sunday of each month starting September 14.

The first tag is a back-to-school tag. Kids are encouraged to bring their first day of school to add to their tag. Shop hours on Sundays are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Registration is required to make sure there are enough supplies on hand.
