Lady Shamrocks top Saranac and Webberville

The St. Patrick Girls Varsity Basketball team hit the road for their first away game of the season last Thursday.   They traveled to Saranac and the Shamrocks defeated the Redhawks 62-49. The Shamrocks played a fluid and well distributed offense as well as worked to pressure the ball well. The Shamrocks worked the boards and brought in solid rebounds that gave them several points scored around the rim. Gracelyn Rockey led the team with a double-double of 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 steals. Lily Sandborn followed up with great drives in the lane and scored 11 points with 2 steals. Marian Davlin had 8 points and 7 rebounds, Macie Leonard added 7 points and Maria Austen with 6.

 

Saranac was led in scoring by Lydia Rasmus with 14 points.

 

On Monday, the St. Patrick Girls Varsity Basketball team traveled to Webberville this evening. They defeated the Spartans 41-29. The Shamrocks worked together to get a solid lead and keep it for the duration. Gracelyn Rockey led the team with 15 points, Lily Sandborn scored 10 points, and Macie Smith added 7points to lead the Shamrocks offensively. 

 

Makayla Culver led the Spartans with 10 points.
