Lady Shamrocks top CHAPS in season opener

The St. Patrick Girls Varsity Basketball team hosted the CHAPS Chariots for their season opener Tuesday evening. The Shamrocks defeated the Chariots 40-33 in a physical and fast paced matchup. The team was led by Mattie Honsowitz who had 21 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. Gracelyn Rockey added 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Macie Smith added 5 rebounds and Lily Sandborn had 4 steals. The Chariots were led by Lainey Grihorash with 12 points.
The Shamrocks host Laingsburg on Thursday evening for the start of league play.
