Lady Shamrocks roll over Lansing Christian to advance to District Finals

On Wednesday night, St. Patrick’s defeated Lansing Christian 65-38 to advance to the district final on Friday.


The Shamrocks were led by Lydia Meredith with 18 points, seven steals and seven rebounds. Mara Schrauben added 13 points, Laynie Meredith with nine points, six assists, and three steals. Natalie Teachworth added 11 points.


During the game, Lydia Meredith surpassed 1,000 career points. She is the only player in St. Patrick school history to total over 1,000 points and over 400 steals.


The Shamrocks will face fellow CMAC league member Fowler for the district championship. Fowler advanced by beating Morrice 63-19.


The championship game will be Friday night at 7:00 PM at Lansing Christian.
