Lady Raiders top Potterville

On Monday night, the Portland High School girls basketball team traveled to Potterville to take on the Vikings. Portland won the game 42-29.

Portland was led offensively by senior Ashley Bower with 18 points, and senior Ava Guilford with 12 points.

Potterville was led by senior Madelyn Geisenhaver with 11 points.

Potterville 8 – 6 – 5 – 10 – 29

The Lady Raiders improve to 14-1 overall. They travel to Detroit Renaissance (10-4) on Saturday.

Next week they travel to Fowler (11-2) on Tuesday, before hosting a rematch with Lansing Catholic (15-0 overall, 6-0 in CAAC White) on Friday. The Raiders will be looking to revenge their loss to Lansing Catholic back on January 14th to secure a share of the league title.
