Lady Raiders top Covenant Christian

The Portland High School girls basketball team traveled to Grand Rapids Covenant Christian on Tuesday and picked up an exciting 46-40 victory.
The Raiders were led by senior Alexa Weber with 15 points. Senior Malia Thelen added 14 points. Sophomore Lilly Thelen added 12 points.

Portland 10 – 8 – 15 – 13 – 46
Covenant Christian 6 – 17 – 10 – 7 – 40
With the win, Portland improves to 13-1 overall. They are 7-1 in the CAAC White.
On Friday the squad travels to Lakewood for a conference match up. Portland won the first meeting between the two schools this season 46-17 back on January 5th.
