Lady Raiders Top Chelsea

On Wednesday night, the Portland High School girls basketball team hosted Chelsea.
Led offensively by senior Ashley Bower with 18 points and senior Ava Guilford with 13 points, the Lady Raiders defeated Chelsea 53-36.
Chelsea was led by Meg McCalla who scored 17 points.
Scoring by quarter:
1st – 2nd – 3rd – 4th – Final
Portland 11 – 16 – 16 – 10 – 53
Chelsea 11 – 6 – 10 – 9 – 36
With the win, Portland improves to 7-1 overall. They are 2-1 in the CAAC White.
Portland’s next contest is Friday when they host Eaton Rapids. The Greyhounds are 3-7 overall, 2-2 in the CAAC White.
