Lady Raiders stung by Hornets

On Saturday, the 6-1 Lady Raider basketball team hosted the 5-1 Hornets of Williamston.

In a low scoring contest for both squads, Portland fell 37-27.

Portland was led by juniors Breckyn Werner with eight points and Ashley Bower with six points.

Williamston was led by Kaley Douglas and Grace Forrell who each scored nine points.

1st – 2nd – 3rd – 4th – Final

Portland 2 – 6 – 11 – 8 – 27

Williamston 13 – 9 – 4 – 11 – 37

Portland moves to 6-2 overall.
