Lady Raiders remain unbeaten with win over Ionia

The Portland High School girls basketball team traveled to Ionia on Friday night. The Lady Raiders outscored the Bulldogs in each quarter of the game and secured a 65-35 victory.

Portland was led offensively by senior Ashley Bower with 18 points. Seniors Ava Guilford and Alivia Densmore each added 15 points for Portland.

1st – 2nd – 3rd – 4th – Final

Portland 16 – 20 – 16 – 13 – 65

Ionia 6 – 11 – 7 – 11 – 35

With the win, Portland improves to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the CAAC White. Their next action is in January when the travel to St. Johns (1-4) on January 4th, before hosting Lansing Sexton (0-3) on January 7th.
