Lady Raiders fall to Haslett

The Portland High School girls basketball team traveled to Haslett on Tuesday to face a powerful Viking squad.

The Raiders were able to get within nine points in the second half of play, but ended up losing to Haslett 61-29.

Haslett was led offensively by senior guard Grace Isenhath with 16 points.

Freshman guard Lilly Thelen led Portland with 12 points. Junior guard Malia Thelen added 10 points.

The Lady Raiders move to 7-3 overall on the season. Their next action is on Saturday night when they travel to Holt. The Rams are currently 7-2.
