Lady Raiders fall to Fowler
On Tuesday night, the Portland High School girls basketball team hosted Fowler. Despite having a two point lead at halftime, Portland lost the game 38-30.
Fowler was led offensively by junior Guard Grace O'Hare who scored 13 points. Senior guard Emma Riley added 11 points.
For the Raiders, junior guard Malia Thelen scored 11 points. Freshman guard Lily Thelen added six points. Sophomore forward Erica Russman scored four points. Junior guard Ella Gruber, freshman guard Bella Spitzley and junior forward Alexa Weber each scored three points for Portland.

Portland is now 13-7 overall and 6-1 in the CAAC White.
The Lady Raiders are scheduled to finish their regular season schedule when the head to Lansing Catholic (16-5 overall, 7-0 in the CAAC White) on Friday night.
Next week they open district play on Wednesday night at Lakewood where they will face the winner of Hastings (7-14 overall) and West Michigan Aviation Academy (8-13 overall). The other side of the district bracket included Ionia and Lakewood.
