Health Department Preparing for COVID-19 Vaccinations for Residents 65 and Older

The Ionia County Health Department is now allowing residents 65 years old and older to sign up to be contacted once the vaccine is available to this priority group. Residents may sign up at https://ioniacounty.org/health/covid-19-vaccine/vaccine-registration/.

According to a post on the department's Facebook page, “If you know someone who is over 65 and without internet access, they can call the Health Department at (616) 527-5341 and one of our staff will sign them up.”

In a post from January 7th, the department said "It could be a month or more before we have enough vaccine."
