Credit/Debit Cards now accepted for PHS Concessions

Spectators at most home Portland High School athletic events will now have the option to buy concessions using their credit/debit card.  The Portland Athletic Association (PAA) invested in seven new point of sale units over this past summer. 

Concessions volunteers got their first chance to use the new units for a home JV volleyball game earlier this week, and the system got its first real test at the home varsity football game on Thursday 8/29. 

Feedback from volunteers and customers was generally very positive so far.

Customers will still be able to use cash at PHS concessions, but the new system also allows for purchases with credit or debit cards.
