Albion College Athletes Named to MIAA Academic Honor Roll

The following local students were among more than 200 Albion College varsity athletes recently named to the 2025-26 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll. This award is reserved for athletes who maintain a 3.5 grade point average for the academic year while earning a varsity letter in an MIAA-sponsored sport.


Portland student Ava Guilford was a member of Albion's women's basketball team and has now received this honor four times. Guilford graduated magna cum laude with a degree in marketing - integrated marketing communication emphasis. Guilford is the child of Patrick and Amy Guilford of Portland and is a graduate of Portland High School.


Portland student Drew Morris was a member of Albion's football team and is receiving this honor for the first time. Morris graduated with a degree in social studies education and a concentration in secondary education. Morris is the child of Jackie and Matthew Morris of Portland and is a graduate of Portland High School.
