Obituary for Connie Jo (Hathaway) Skinner

Connie Jo Skinner, age 72, of Portland, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2020. She was born on March 3, 1948 in Belding, the daughter of Evan and Charlotte (Luno) Hathaway. Connie graduated from Ionia High School Class of 1966 and she enjoyed meeting up with her high school girlfriends throughout her life. Connie was full of life and her family meant the world to her. She also liked to read, target shoot, and follow along on Facebook to keep up with everyone in her spare time.

Preceding Connie in death are her parents; sister, Evonne Johnson; daughter, Amber Jo Cuttle; and son, Michael Cuttle. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald Skinner; children, Robert (Donna) Cuttle of Belding, Lauri (Russ) Fisher of Concord, Jason (Heidi) Cuttle of Charlotte, and Scott (Debbie) Cuttle of Livonia; many grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother-in-law, Jack (special friend, Carol) Johnson.

The Funeral Service will be officiated by Pastor Kenneth Harger at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge Street, Portland. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Interment will follow at Portland Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Lehman Funeral Homes.
