Judy H. Cline, age 74, of Portland, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020. She was born on June 16, 1946 in Oak Hill, W.V. the daughter of Jack and Elsie Huffman.
Judy, was “Nana” to anyone and everyone who knew her. She entertained everyone with her stories of life and love. Her knack for storytelling was a quality that will be remembered the most. From her life as a girl growing up in West Virginia to the many people she has met along the way, she had a tale for all.
Nana had a fierce and feisty spirit that allowed her to love without apology and tell you how it was without regret. She loved her family and friends deeply and wholly, and always opened her home to anyone in need. Nana was a presence felt by all, from her time cooking at the VFW to her time at the racetrack, everyone knew Nana.
Nana made her mark on the world and left it a little less interesting. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. She has been reunited with her late husband, Joe Cline; her parents; an infant daughter, Patricia Lynn Martin and her beloved dog, BJ. Nana’s love and stories will live on in her absence and will forever be a part of the people who were blessed and fortunate to have known and loved her. Surviving are her children Marian (Joe) Hoppes, Scott (Amy) Martin and Audra (Terri) Osbun; her grandchildren, Grant (Nicole) Hoppes, Jim (Cameron Yaxley) Hoppes, Catie Hoppes, Jim (Kaylyn) Stalker, Reba Lynn (Noah Spitzley) Martin and Fischer Osbun; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Hoppes, Philomena Mauren, Lily, Jake and Sammy Stalker.
