Obituary for Clyde Gilbert Woodman

Clyde Gilbert Woodman, age 85, of Portland, went to be with his loving Lord on July 20, 2020, surrounded by his adoring family. He was born on November 5, 1934 to Clyde and Iola Woodman.

Clyde worked at TRW for over 36 years where he served as a loyal employee until his retirement. He was known for his quick wit and quiet demeanor. Clyde was truly a man of integrity. He loved his family immensely and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Clyde loved animals, especially dogs and most recently his beloved dog, Honey.

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol; and grandsons, Ryan, Tyler, Nicholas, and Benjamin. Surviving are his beloved wife of 62 years, Ann; children, Vicki (Bob) Beckett, Mark (Shari) Woodman, Deb Woodman, Brenda (Curt) Blake, Todd (Carrie) Woodman, and Tami (Mike) Navarre; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thank you to the staff of Portland Assisted Living and Memory Center and Sparrow Hospice, especially, Bill, Hillary, and Jennifer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Sparrow Hospice of Michigan (1210 West Saginaw Street, Lansing, Michigan 48915) in honor of Clyde Woodman.
