Obituary for Ronald "Joe" Proctor

Ronald "Joe" Proctor, age 67, of Nashville, formerly of Portland, passed away June 17, 2020. He was born in Portland, Michigan, the son of L.J. "Sam" and Mary "Polly" (Nelson) Proctor. Joe was an avid outdoorsmen, he liked hunting, fishing, floating down the river, mushroom hunting, camping, and nature walks. Joe's greatest love was his family and friends whom he enjoyed spending time with.

Preceding Joe in death are his wife, JoAnn (Winter) Proctor; mother, Mary "Polly" (Mongold) Nelson; father, L.J. "Sam" Proctor; step-father, Robert Nelson; sisters, Susie (Proctor) Randolf and Cynthia (Proctor) Hartwick. Surviving are his children, Shari Lynn (Robert) Trefil, Joe Buck (Ashley) Proctor, Trisa (Mike) Ward, Nate (Taylor) Ward, and Katie (Dustin) Burhans; eighteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, June 22, 2020 at the Portland Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Marilyn V. Danielson officiating.
