Obituary for Kenneth Jerome Wheeler

Kenneth Jerome Wheeler, Jr., age 90, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 5, 1930 in Lansing the son of Kenneth and Gertrude (Ide) Wheeler, Sr. Ken retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. He loved farming and spending winters in Florida with his wife, Vivian. He also enjoyed animals, aviation, going to garage sales, hunting, canoeing, golfing and even an occasional trip to the casino. Ken was member of the Masonic Lodge, and most of all loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Diane Sandborn; brothers, Larry Wheeler and Kendall Harrington and a grandson, Joshua Hoskins. Surviving are his wife of 70 years, Vivian; children, Jerry (Lorraine) Wheeler of Stanton, Debbie (Harvey) Hoskins of Portland, Lori (Terry) Lynn of Lansing, Tami Rife of Defiance, OH, Christopher Wheeler of Portland and Andy (Angie) Wheeler of Grand Ledge; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Patsy Buckley and Rosemary Harrington.
