Obituary for Lynn Eugene Olger

Lynn Eugene Olger, age 70, of Lyons, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020. He was born on May 25, 1949 in Carson City, the son of Ray and Jeanetta (Helmer) Olger. Lynn is a veteran of the U.S. Army and is retired from General Motors after 37 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, camping and working for area farmers. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Carlson; nieces, Janice White and Rhonda Hendrixon; his father-in-law, Harvey Blackmer and his faithful companion, D.O.G. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Geaneen (Blackmer); his children, Marcus (Nicole) Olger, Michele Olger and Matthew (Richard Olger-Cuervo) Olger; grandchildren, Noah Tudor, Elijah, Madilynn and Bella Olger; brother, Lyle (Sharon) Olger; brother-in-law, Paul Carlson; mother-in-law, Neita Blackmer; in-laws, Dianne Wassenaar, Karen (Duane) Coville, Lois (Russ) Mann and Lorraine (Mark) Heffner; and numerous nieces and nephews.
