Obituary for Patrick A. LaFontsee

Patrick A. LaFontsee, age 92, of Portland, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2020. He was born on September 17, 1927, the son of Algurt and Hazel (Decker) LaFontsee. Patrick was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors after many years of service. He was known as a jokester to his family and friends. He loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty in 2005 and his twin sister, Patricia Cudney. Surviving are his children, Randy (Kris) LaFontsee of Laingsburg and Sherry (Dennis) Pelton of Portland; grandchildren, Nick LaFontsee, Patrick (Natalie) Emery and Nicole (Mike) Baccarossa; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Paislee, and Parker Emery and Isabella, Lily, and Ava Baccarossa; and special sister-in-law, Josephine Chapin, A private family traditional burial service will be held.
