Festival of Tables 2020 “A Huge Success”
The 2020 Festival of Tables event in Portland on Saturday, February 22nd was a huge success! This event has been taking place for over 15 years and benefits the Compassion Fund administrated by the Portland Area Ministerial Association (PAMA).
Each year Sue Kreiner and her catering business, A Taste of Heaven, cater this event and put together all the details. There is an amazing meal, beautifully decorated tables, music and an inspirational speaker. There are also tons of items donated for auction.
This year the speaker was Katie Edick, a local Portland resident. She spoke on the importance of making special moments in our life. The music was provided by a young woman, Veronica White.
Each table features a theme that is special to the hostess. This year’s tables featured a tribute to firefighters and recognition of a new foundation called Jacob’s Ladder Foundation. The tables also featured favorite themes or characters such as Frozen, sunflowers, dolphins and beekeeping.
PAMA would like to thank all that were involved in this event and appreciate the support of the Portland community! This event was able to raise over $3,600 for the Compassion Fund that supports local families when they need emergency help with rent, utilities, gas, etc. A special thank you to the Portland Church of the Nazarene for providing the space to hold this event.
