Lady Raiders Top Ionia 48-24

On Friday night, Portland High School hosted the Bulldogs of Ionia in the 2020 Coaches vs. Cancer game.

In the girls contest, the Lady Raiders picked up a decisive home court victory. Portland was led offensively by Ava Guilford with 13 points, Ashley Bower with 10 points, and Breckyn Werner with nine points.

Ionia’s leading scorer was Brynn Reams with 10 points.

Ionia 4 – 8 – 7 – 5 – 24

With the win, the Lady Raiders improve their record to 13-1 overall, and 6-0 in the CAAC White. They will host New Lothrop (7-6) on Tuesday night before traveling to Lansing Sexton (0-12) on Friday.
