ER 9 – 2 – 4 – 8 – 23
After the game, Portland head coach Jason Haid said, “Defensive pressure. We wanted to take them out of everything they wanted to do. That was our focus. We knew if we played good defense and we kept ourselves in the game, then the offense would come. We have been hanging our hat on defense all year. We held another good team to one of their lowest point totals all year. Our pressure was relentless. We had some great pressure on the ball all night and it just frustrated the heck out of them. And once again we just shared the ball. This team is so unselfish. Good things will continue to happen to us if we continue working hard and playing together.
With the win, the Raiders move to 9-1 and take sole ownership of the top spot ion the CAAC White division. Next week they host Olivet (4-5) on Tuesday before traveling to Charlotte (4-4) on Friday.
