Lady Raiders Beat Haslett 54-40

The PHS Lady Raider basketball team hosted the Vikings of Haslett on Tuesday night. Despite having only a one point lead at the half, the Lady Raiders were able to roll to a 54-40 victory.

Sophomore Ashley Bower Portland with 14 points. Junior Ava Gruber added 13 points. Sophomore Ava Guilford scored 12 points. Sophomore Alivia Densmore added 9 points for the Raiders while sophomore Shaylyn Dzeiwiatkowski scored four points, and sophomore Breckyn Werner scored two points.

Haslett’s tor scorer with 11 points was Martin.

1st – 2nd – 3rd – 4th – Final

Portland 14 – 7 – 19 – 14 – 54

Haslett 13 – 7 – 8 – 12 – 40

With the loss, Haslett falls to 4-5 on the season.

Portland improves to 8-1. The Lady Raiders will host 7-1 Eaton Rapids on Friday night.
