Emma Johnson Named PHS Raider of the Week

Portland High School is pleased to announce this week’s recipient of the “Raider of the Week” award:

Name: Emma Johnson

Grade: 12

Parents: Jon and Penny Johnson

Activities: Emma has been involved with Raider volleyball and softball teams throughout high school. She has been involved with our Student Council throughout high school as well and is a member of the PHS National Honor Society and Captain’s Club. Outside of PHS, she has been involved with the Portland United Methodist Church Youth Group and AAU Volleyball.

Post-High School Plans: After graduation, Emma plans to attend Grand Valley State University to study nursing.

Award: In recognition of being selected as “Raider of the Week” at Portland High School, Emma is awarded one 9”/1-item pizza from The Pizza Shop courtesy of Dawn and Tom Hodge and will receive a plaque from S&K Trophies courtesy of Lynn and Dan Babbitt.
