Werner Leads Lady Raiders Over St. Johns

The Lady Raider basketball squad traveled to St. Johns on Tuesday night to face the Redwings. Portland would pick up a decisive 47-26 road victory.

Sophomore Breckyn Werner led the Raiders with 12 points. Sophomore Ashley Bower added 11 points. Sophomores Alivia Densmore and Ava Guilford each added eight points, while juniors Ava Gruber and Josie Goodman contributed four points each.

The Redwings were led by 6' 0" junior Rachel Rustad with 12 points.

The Redwings fall to 2-5 on the season. The Lady Raiders improve to 6-1 and will travel to Lansing Catholic (5-2) on Friday night.
